While I was reading Breakfast in Bed, I couldn't help but feel a strong distaste (ain't that an euphemism of the decade) towards Alicia. Since I didn't like that book in particular, I was kind of afraid what this story would be like.Alicia was previously described as horrible, weak and pathetic woman, one that can't seem to gather strength to face life. Tough, since she's a widow and a mother of two.Well, at least there's some improvement here. She seems a bit stronger and а bit more likable. Thank God.Although this is far from the best Sandra Brown wrote, it is better than the previous one, and it's a pleasant reading - cliche, and a bit too stereotype-cave-male thing, but... whatever works for the masses.
